Michael Hare

Michael Hare has 45 years of aviation background, from my general aviation and commercial aviation experiences, to military and combat experiences.

As Director of Emergency Preparedness in the Air Force, Michael dealt with change and risk constantly. He and his team devised reasonable responses to extreme situations, and provided the voice of reason.

While transitioning his F-16 squadron to a C-130 squadron, Michael dealt with a quadrupling number and diversity of the people involved. Culture change was difficult and obstacles were everywhere.  Through group brainstorming, strategic thinking, planning and teamwork, Michael created a path to the future that included everyone and incorporated efficiency and safety.

"We, as flight instructors and the SAFE organization as a whole need to plan for the future and recognize the wonderful opportunities the future presents. I can contribute and help lead us there." - Michael Hare
