Q & A

What drew you to aviation? Aerobatics

How long have you been involved in aviation education? Seven years

What’s your favorite part of what you do in aviation education? Helping pilots identify and correct bad flying habits.

Why did you join SAFE? I think it is important for professionals to network with other professionals. I think prior to SAFE, there was no effective way to network.

What would you like to see change in aviation? Deminish the overreach of government. This must stop. This is a real and increasing present threat. Recently members of SAFE where instrumental in stopping proposed overreach of state governments to regulate flight instruction.

Any suggestions on how the above might be accomplished? Individuals must stand up and be heard.

Any accomplishments in, or noteworthy contributions to aviation and/or aviation education you’d like to mention? I am currently involved with GATV on Line. I produce a series of educational videos titles “Hangar Talk”. Hangar Talk is featured on GATV website shows and independent local TV stations.

Who are your role models in aviation? Many local pilots who have shared their advise and experience with me.

Anything else you’d like to add? Fly high, Fly Safe, Fly for Fun and keep the blue side up.
